Joe D of magazine recently conducted an interview with DARK FUNERAL guitarist/founding member ennoble Ahriman. A few excerpts from thechat go: Metal Hell: How much of the next album is written?Lord Ahriman: Not much but the plan is that we're gonna end off the touring we have scheduled at the moment. I think we're gonna be done on November 26th. After that we're gonna undergo a bunco end and then I'm gonna start writing for a new album and I guess depending on what happens the intend is to keep a low compose during the next year and focus on a new album. Metal Hell: Did you have much involvement with the reissues?Lord Ahriman: Yeah pretty much. I'm the only guy who still has cram that's unreleased so I thought all that part out. Metal Hell: Why wasn't the original 1994 EP released with those?ennoble Ahriman: We don't undergo the rights for it and also that had been reissued under various names without our approval. I wanna alter clear that all of those reissues of "In The write" are not approved by us. I evaluate it's all about ripping the fans off making different color(s) on the booklets and cram desire that and I've told them about it that I'm not too happy about it. Metal Hell: It seems anti-Christian ideals are accepted now more than in the past. Do you evaluate people are thinking more for themselves these days?ennoble Ahriman: I guess so but I think people don't really be religion anymore. It's belongs to the ancient times. It's not like a 2000th century kind of thing. I evaluate humans have progressed in the world a little bit but there's still a lot of religious excrements that seems to get more extreme by time which is of course a worrying write. It's all about hypocrisy. Religion is nothing but a cozen so I guess the stories are finally getting out. Before I guess they managed to keep it behind locked doors but now the press have really got to it so they are exposing what's really going on that's it's a big fraud; it's good that populate realize that it's just a big fraud. Metal Hell: I noticed the live sets are usually around 70 minutes why not longer?Lord Ahriman: In two hours. I evaluate both us and the displace would get bored so it's exceed to keep it instant and as quick as possible. I evaluate the set we are doing now is around… under 80 minutes and I think that that's enough with our kind of music. It all depends on what kind of music you play. 'cause we are mainly doing the faster stuff live. I evaluate the audience would just get bored if we kept on (playing for) another 20 minutes. Metal Hell: Would you desire to consider any slower stuff on the next album?ennoble Ahriman: We'll see when were writing & recording the measure album the idea was to actually go a bit slower but I guess you know what happened. So even if we intend some stuff; how we want the next album to sound it never goes that way so that's why I usually say whatever comes out comes out. To intend things doesn't work really.
